Kayaking on the crystal clear water of Horsefly Lake is very inviting. Even trips for several days are possible.

Fishing, Fly-Fishing

A fisherman's paradise! Fish in Horsefly Lake, in many of the nearby smaller lakes or in Horsefly River for Rainbow Trout (up to 4kg/8 pound) Lake Trout (up to 8 kg/17 pound) Kokanee or Dolly Varden. Winter ice fishing available.  

Cross-Country Skiing, Ice Skating, Snow-Shoeing

Discover our winter wonderland on cross-country skis or snowshoes. Meet for an ice-hockey game / figure skating or family skating outing at the ice rink on the lake.    

Wildlife Watching, Animal Feeding

Hummingbirds, loons, ducks, geese, bald eagles, golden eagles, coyotes, moose, beavers, bears, .... - the Canadian wilderness right before your door. Our ranch offers "wildlife" too. Help us feed our wild boar, collect chicken eggs, feed and pet the rabbits...

Reading

A good book is much better in a quiet, cozy surrounding.
